MISSION STATEMENT
The Keith Brooking Children's Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to serving foster children and the agencies that serve them throughout the metro Atlanta area.
The foundation strives to promote positive values through uniquely designed programs which encourage education, good health, and self worth.
Facts:
The Keith Brooking Children’s Foundation was established in December 2003.
Keith’s mother, Brenda Hembree, is the inspiration behind the foundation.
The focus of the Foundation is foster children and the organizations that serve them, however; many foundation programs are designed to reach all children.
The foundation has awarded over $300,000.00 in grant monies since Feb 2004.
Executive Director, Gina Weathersby and PR Director, Lacey Owens, along with 25 board members, oversee the operation of the foundation on a daily basis.
Keith Brooking spends much of his off season each year raising awareness of his newly established foundation. He visits local schools, businesses and organizations that serve and support children.
Foundation programs and services are supported by financial contributions from corporate sponsors and loyal donors. In addition, funds are raised through two yearly events as well as through grants that are awarded to the foundation by other organizations.
